Louis is the founder of Tapestry Spirit. He has a diverse background in education, science, and is a highly spiritual man.

For fun, Louis does woodworking at home building furniture, birdhouses, and anything else he needs in the field. He also sells science and spiritually-themed clothing in his ETSY store. “Come see my Limpy Collection!”

Louis also loves tacos!!!

“Educating others has always been a passion for me and I would love it to continue.” As a result, Louis, although retired from public education, continues to teach Biology at the college level, provides K-16 educational services through lectures, conferences, and his blog on education, fun, and spirituality.

Louis’ spiritual journey has been rewarding, if not easy! “This has been one of the most illuminating and toughest journeys that I have ever had. The search for the divine inside of me is a calling that everyone should take on.”

My basic business philosophy is to surround myself with good quality people who are smarter than I am in their respective areas. I can certainly help guide them through the “big picture”, but when I need things done, I turn them loose!!

Louis loves his friends dearly and spends time with them whenever he can.

Lindsey was brought on board to Tapestry Spirit due to her highly charged creativity, expert knowledge of education and science, and just being an awesome person! Her high school students greatly benefit from her scientific and educational acumen but are just as highly charged by her creative and artistic expressions.

For fun, Lindsey enjoys taking hikes and exploring new places. She is an adventurer at heart. When she took a heritage trip to North Dakota to learn more about her mother’s side of the family, she visited Theodore Roosevelt National Park. After her visit, she fell in love with national parks and the rest was simple . One of her life goals is to visit all of the national parks in the United States. She has three loveable rescue dogs and a guinea pig.

Lindsey’s education spans a wide variety of interests. She spent three years at Texas A&M University studying animal science and entomology. She then knew that her purpose in life was to be a teacher. She went to Texas A&M University-Commerce and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Lindsey constantly has this urge to learn more about everything! With this in mind, she obtained her Master’s Degree from Clemson University in Biological Studies. She currently is a high school forensics teacher.

Lindsey has a highly charged spirit! She loves the Lord and believes that God is with her in every high and every low. She believes in what the Word of the Lord says in John 3:16, “ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.” She enjoys going to church at Watermark and participates in Regeneration.

Candice was brought on board to Tapestry Spirit due to her expertise in education and science for sure. However, Candice is also the risk-taker among us. She can engage audiences from one to one thousand. She will also thrill a classroom full of students with her highly dynamic style and expression. Her high school students love her classes and learn so much from her style.
